Research & academic involvement

A commitment to evidence and improvement

Mr Reekhaye is actively involved in research and clinical trials, including recruitment into National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) kidney cancer studies, and is Good Clinical Practice (GCP) trained. His MCh dissertation, awarded with Distinction, examined outcomes in minimally invasive urological surgery.

He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications across urology and uro-oncology, and continues to teach medical students and surgical trainees — having served as an anatomy demonstrator and as an OSCE examiner for King’s College London and Newcastle University medical schools.
